you will follow the same installation steps presented on the SkySync Platform Initial Installation page. The only difference in the installation will be to select to use PostgreSQL as your database. You must then provide the credentials needed to connect to the database.

When prompted to configure your database, select Use a different database.
Select Microsoft SQL Server from the Database platform list and select Next.
Select Hosted and enter the database information.

You will see a “Connection Successful” message if the database is detected. If the database is not detected, a warning message will display to indicate that it will be created.
If the connection fails, refer to the SkySync Platform Installation Troubleshooting for assistance.Select Next to continue.
The database information displays for review. Ensure it is correct and select Create database to continue.
SkySync will begin configuring the database. When it is done, you will be prompted to restart the SkySync service. Select Restart.
