The Locations page is where you will select the source connection and destination connection to use for the job. The source defines the current location of the content you wish to transfer; the destination defines the location where you would like to move your content.

Source and Destination Connection

Click on the connection you want to select and click Use this connection. The selected connection will fill in the corresponding connection field. 

Additional Location Options

Once you select the connection, additional fields will display on the screen. These fields vary based on the Job Type selected. Refer to the following sections for specific details about the fields available for each Job Type.

Basic Transfer Jobs

Run as User

(Impersonation)

If you are an administrator using Impersonation, enable this field turn on the Run as user toggle and choose the user you wish to access. Only some supported platforms support impersonation. They include

  • Box

  • Dropbox for Business

  • Google Workspace

  • Google Team Drives

  • Microsoft Office 365

  • Microsoft OneDrive for Business

  • Microsoft SharePoint. 

Source Path and Destination Path

If you wish to transfer all content, leave the source path blank. Otherwise, click Edit to select the specific path you want to use for the job. You can also manually specify the path to use. If the path you specify doesn't exist, DryvIQ will create it.

For Folder Mapping

All job features defined while creating the parent job, will be applied to the child jobs it creates.

Run as User: If you are an administrator using Impersonation, enable this field and choose the user you wish to access.

Source/Destination Path: If you wish to transfer all content, leave the source path blank. A , a child job will be created for every top level folder. If a folder is selected for the source path, a child job will be created for every sub folder subfolder within the parent folder. 

Child Job Source/Destination Path: This directory within each folder will be used as the source.

  • Target the root of each folder: The child job will be created for the first level folder relative to the source path.

  • Target a specific directory within each folder: If there is a folder that is exists in every directory, you can define it with this option.

User Account Mapping Jobs

Run as User: If you are an administrator using Impersonation, enable this field and choose the user you wish to access.

Source/Destination Path: If you wish to transfer all content, leave the source path blank. A child job will be created for every user account. If a director is selected for the source path, a child job will be created for every user account within the parent directory. 

Child Job Source/Destination Path: This directory within each user account will be used as the source. If the directory does not exist on the destination, DryvIQ will create it.

  • Target the root of each user account: The child job will be created for the first level folder/account relative to the source path.

  • Target a specific directory within each user account: If there is a folder that is exists in every user account, you can define it with this option.

Network Home Drive Mapping Jobs

Run as User: If you are an administrator using Impersonation, enable this field and choose the user you wish to access.

Source/Destination Path: If you wish to transfer all content, leave the source path blank. A For Network Home Drive Mapping jobs, a child job will be created for every home drive. If a directory is selected for the source path, a child job will be created for every home drive within the parent directory.
