Cause: When a Google Doc file is created (whether in Box or Google Drive), it’s tied to that storage provider. Even though you can download the .gdoc file from box, you can’t upload that .gdoc file to Google Drive and expect to edit the file.Fix: To address this, transferring a .gdoc file from Box to Google Drive will generate an error and appear in the sync history as an error. This error comes from Google's Drive API, and is not something we generate. Google will not allow .gdoc files to be uploaded to Google Drive thru their API. |

Cause:The Google platforms use multiple native document types in their system, and while most of them are compatible with Microsoft programs (Docs, Sheets, Slides) Forms are not. Forms utilizes a .xsn file format which can be seen in SkySync navigation panel but unfortunately cannot be moved.Fix: Unfortunately there currently isn't a way to address this issue, other than manually uploading the affected files.Not all G Suite file types are transferrable. Please see Transferring G Suite Native Files for more information. |
