A connection is how you grant SkySync DryvIQ access to the content in your Dropbox for Business account. You will provide the connection information required for SkySync DryvIQ to connect to the platform/server. This grants SkySync DryvIQ access to the account so it can scan and analyze the content based on the policies you create.

Creating a Dropbox for Business Connection
Select Content from the main menu.
Verify you are on the Connections tab.
Select Add connection.
Select Dropbox for Business as the platform on the Add connection modal.
Enter the connection information. See Connection Authentication Options below for details about each field.
Select Sign in with Dropbox for Business.
On the Dropbox API Request Authorization modal, enter the Email and Password required to log in to the account and select Sign In. (Note that the authorization will refer to “SkySync.” This is expected.)
Select Allow when prompted to authorize the connection.
You will see a "Connection test succeeded" message on the Add connection modal. (If you don't see this message, repeat the sign in and authorization steps above.)
Select Done to finish creating the connection.
Connection Authentication Options
Below is a list of the authentication options available to create the connection. Select the options that work best for your account and the connection you are creating.

Display as | Enter the display name for the connection. If you will be creating multiple connections, ensure the name readily identifies the connection. The name displays in the application, and you can use it to search for the connection and filter lists. If you do not add a display name, the connection will automatically be named, "Dropbox for Business." |

Include unmounted folders | Indicate if you want to DryvIQ to show unmounted folders owned by the user. The default option is No, so unmounted folders do not display. If you select Yes, DryvIQ will display unmounted folders owned by the user. Only folders will display; the contents for the folders will not display.

Understanding the Overshared Flag
The DryvIQ Discovery Scan has a built-in “overshared” permissions flag. When the scan detects access granted to the following groups, the file will be flagged as "overshared."
