Overview
You can add keywords to regular expression entity types. Keywords improve the match accuracy by providing a list of terms that may appear in close proximity to the entity you want to identify. A term is considered as close proximity if it within 5 words behind the match. These keywords boost the confidence level of a given match. In the example below, the confidence level for the serial number pattern is only 0.5 (medium); however, if you add keywords, the confidence level increases by 35% (as noted by the green percentage displayed on the right of this section).

Keywords are be added when creating the entity type. You have the option of manually adding the keywords or uploading the keywords from a csv file.

The Keywords page allows you to mange the keywords assigned to the entity type. You access this page using the Manage keywords option for an entity type. Use the links below to learn more. Managing negative keywords for regular expression entity types is the same as managing other keywords. The same functionality and options are available for both keyword types.
