Overview

Pausing a data sources prevents all scans of the data source for all assigned policies. This means no scans, either scheduled or manual, will run against the data sources until it is turned back on.

Pausing a Data Sources

1. Select Policy center.

2. select Data sources.

3. Click the ellipses (…) that display when you hover at the end of the row for the data source.

4. Select Pause from the menu that displays.
   

   

5. A warning appears that pausing the data source will prevent all polices attached to the data source from running. Click OK to continue.
   

   

6. The data source’s status is changed to “Paused.”
   

   

Turning a Data Source On

1. Select Policy center.

2. select Data sources.

3. Click the ellipses (…) that display when you hover at the end of the row for the data source.

4. Select Resume from the menu that displays.
   

   

5. The data source’s status is changed to “On.”
