Creating an Entity Type

You can create two kinds of entity types: regular expression or block list. The information required to create each entity type varies, so refer to the documentation for that entity type to ensure you understand each option.

1. Select Content.

2. Select Entity types.

3. Select Create an entity type. A Create entity type modal appears.

4. Add a name for the entity type you are creating. The name displays in the Entity Type list and is required.

5. Select if you are creating an entity type that will match using a regular expression (a pattern) or a defined list.

6. Select Create.
   
   

    

7. You will be taken to a page to add additional information for the entity type you are creating. Refer to the Regular Expression Entity Type or the Block List Entity Type for information on creating each entity type.
