Sometimes a job may need to be reset, in order to address issues or for changes to be applied.

Note

SkySync has two levels of resetting a job:

Soft: Change optimization history is preserved, minimizing impact on overall job performance.
Hard: All change optimization history has been removed, forcing the job to recreate its change tracking database.
- This will cause the next job run to go longer than you may expect, as directory/change information is rebuilt.
- This may cause recopy with connectors that don't support timestamps, such as Sharefile.
