Overview

SkySync evaluates the tracking groups in priority order--the order they are sorted within the policy. Although a file may match the rules for multiple tracking groups, a file can only exist in one tracking group, so it will be assigned to the first tracking group that is matched. Therefore, you should order your tracking groups from highest risk level to lowest risk level to ensure a file is always matched against the higher risk levels first.

Editing the Priority

  1. If necessary, select Edit for the tracking group to enable editing.

  2. Click the ellipses on the right side of the tracking group.

  3. Select Move up to move the tracking group up in priority or Move down to move the tracking group down in priority.

  4. The number next to the risk level will change to reflect the tracking group’s current priority order.

  5. If you need to move the tracking group up or down multiple levels, repeat steps 2-3 until the tracking group is at the desired priority.
