Once a data source exists in the application, you can assign it to as many policies as desired. All you have to do is select the existing data source to add it to a policy. Any settings added when the data source was initially created in the application (impersonation, directory, and scanning schedule) will be used.

  1. Select Policy Center.

  2. Verify you are on the Policies page.

  3. Click the ellipses (…) that display when you hover at the end of the row for the policy.

  4. Select Edit policy from the menu that displays. The Tracking groups page for the policy displays.

  5. Select Data sources from the menu on the left side of the screen.

  6. Select Assign data source.

  7. The Data source list displays the data sources created in the application. The list displays the first 100 data sources. If you have more than 100 data sources, use the Load more link to display additional data sources as needed.

  8. Select the data source you want to assign to the policy.

  9. Select Done to save the data source.

  10. The data source will be added to the Data source grid.
