The date of the last scan displays next to the Scan Now button. You can manually trigger a Discover scan using the blue Scan now button on the top-right side of the menu bar. When you select this buttonat any time using this button. When you click Scan now, a menu displays and lists all the data sources assigned to Discover. You can select to scan one a data source by selecting clicking the Scan now button next to that source or all data sources by selecting Scan all available data sources now at the bottom of the menudata source.

Once a scan is triggered, the Scan now button next to the data source will change to a label that displays the scan status. A “Running” status indicates the scan is in progress. A “Queued” status indicates the scan is waiting to start. The scan will run based on its priority in the queue.

If a scan shows “Paused” as the status, you can resume it on the Scans page. Find the scan in the scan list and click the Scan now button.

The menu initially displays 15 data sources. If you have more than 15 data sources, you will see a Load more link. Use this link to display the next 15 data sources. To close the menu, click the main Scan now button used to open the menu or click outside of the menu.

If a job shows “Paused” as the statusyou want to run more than one scan, you can resume the scan on the Locations tab. Find the location on the page and select the Scan now button next to the locationstart multiple scans at the same time from the Scans page.
