Importing a Policy Template

Overview

The Import option allows you to create a policy by importing a JSON file that includes the information needed to create the policy. Use the link below to view a sample template. You can use the sample to build your own policy import.

The threshold for each entity type included in the policy import must be between 0.01 and 1.00.

Importing a Policy

  1. Click Govern in the left navigation menu.

  2. Click Policies. You will be taken to the Policies page.

  3. Click Create a policy.

  4. Click Import on the bottom of the Create new policy modal.

     

  5. Use the dialog box to select the template file.

  6. DryvIQ imports the policy.

     

  7. Click Edit to view the details for each tracking group added to the policy.

  8. If you make changes to a tracking group’s information, click Apply changes to save the changes you made.
