Testing Connections
Testing a connection lets you verify that DryvIQ can connect to the platform. This is the same connection test that runs when you create the connection. If scans for a particular connection show issues, you can test the connection to confirm it is successful. If a connection test fails, it may indicate an outage on the platform or an issue with the credentials used to create the connection. If there is an issue with the credentials, it may be necessary to create a new connection.
Search for the connection you want to test.
Select the Options icon (…) that appears at the end of the row on the connection line.
Select Test connection from the menu.
DryvIQ attempts to connect to the platform using the credentials that were used to create the connection. If DryvIQ can connect to the platform, you will see a “Connection test succeeded” message. If the DryvIQ can’t connect to the platform, you will see a “Connection test failed” message.
